Position Overview:

We are looking for a responsible, driven, and proactive CFO with substantial expertise in accounting who thrives in an entrepreneurial organization with a fast-paced environment and diverse responsibilities. You will be offered a role in an international company, registered in Sweden with HQ in Stockholm, experiencing an exciting growth phase, entailing significant influence and involvement in various forward-looking processes. 

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Financial Strategy: Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with the company's short-term and long-term goals, encompassing both B2B and B2C segments.

  • Team Building: Establish and lead the finance team, recruiting top talent, fostering a collaborative environment, and providing leadership and mentorship.

  • Operational Finance: Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash-flow management, and risk assessment.

  • Process Development: Create and implement robust financial processes, policies, and procedures to streamline operations and support growth objectives.

  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Define and monitor financial KPIs to measure performance, drive improvements, and support strategic decision-making.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership teams to align financial strategies with overall business objectives and provide insights for informed decision-making.

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, manage financial risks, and oversee audits and reporting.


Your Profile:

You have at least three years of experience in accounting. You are proactive, self-driven, capable of independently driving the work forward, and can assume the role with overall responsibility for the finance department. Structured and analytical, you are interested in driving business and developing processes and routines.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Experience in building and leading financial teams from scratch, coupled with strong leadership and mentorship abilities.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial management, accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Knowledge of Swedish financial laws, regulations, and compliance standards relevant to the role of Chief Financial Officer.
  • Ability to create and implement financial systems, processes, and KPIs aligned with company objectives.

  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.

  • Experience with Fortnox is a merit

  • Fluent in Swedish and English
